The Conservator
Maryse Bonaldo holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction (Major in Painting and Drawing) from Concordia University (Montreal, QC) and a Master of Art Conservation (Painting Specialty) from Queen’s University (Kingston, ON). After fulfilling the required internships for the Master’s degree at the McCord Museum (Montreal, QC), Fraser Spafford-Ricci (South Surrey, BC), and the Museum of Fine Arts (Montreal, QC), Maryse has trained in both Museum and private practice environments, giving her the opportunity to explore new products and methods of treatment to refine her experience and knowledge in painting conservation.
Regular involvement with industry-organized workshops also allows Maryse to stay abreast of the latest techniques, methods, and products in the field.
Maryse is a member of the Canadian Association for Conservation (CAC), the American Institute for Conservation (AIC), and the International Institute of Conservation (IIC).
